BASIC CLEANING PACKAGE

During the initial clean, Every task on this list will be completed. Tasks will be slightly modified for recurring maintenance: 

  • Baseboard cleaning by dry dusting (no longer wet wiping)

  • Windows will be cleaned on an as-needed basis (e.g., if they have dirt/fingerprints)

  • Kick plates below cupboards are no longer cleaned.

KITCHEN

  • Outside of cupboards and  drawers 

  • All countertops

  • Backsplash

  • Hood range frame (we do not remove vents)

  • Stovetop

  • Outside of all appliances (cleaned and polished)

  • Sinks and faucets (cleaned and dried)

  • Windowsills and inside windows

  • Blinds are wet wiped (if the material allows; if blinds are worn, we will not wet clean)

  • Dusting picture frames and exposed shelves  

  • Toe kick plates (the piece underneath the cabinet leading to the floor)

  • Hand cleaning baseboards and dry dusting other trims with a Swiffer

  • Garbage removal (we do not take garbage with us, please inform us where to put all garbage)

  • All light fixtures dry dusted

  •  light switches and outlet plate covers cleaned

  • Kitchen table and chairs, including dusting legs

  • Vacuuming carpets and mats are vacuumed

  • Vacuuming and mopping all flooring

LIVING AREAS AND HALLWAYS

  • Dusting furniture and knick-knacks

  • Dry dusting all light fixtures and ceiling fans 

  • Wet cleaning light switches and outlet plate covers 

  • Removing all cobwebs 

  • Dusting remotes

  • Cleaning mirrors

  • Dusting horizontal edges

  • Vacuuming the tops of couch cushions and other fabric furniture

  • Using a Swiffer to clean under furniture where vacuuming cannot be completed

  • Hand wiping baseboards and dry dusting other trim with a Swiffer

  • Vacuuming all area rugs and mats

  • Vacuuming all pet furniture 

  • Mopping and vacuuming all flooring

BEDROOMS AND OFFICES

  • General tidying-up (e.g., putting dirty clothes or objects on floors in piles; we do not fully organize rooms)

  • Changing bed linen (as requested)

  • Baseboards hand wiped, other trim hand dusted

  • Cobwebs removed

  • All shelves/ledges and knick-knacks are dusted

  • Ceiling fans dusted; light fixtures/light switches/outlets dusted.

  • Furniture/shelves dusted

  • Items on furniture dusted including keyboards, backs and tops of computers

  • Inside windows/window sills cleaned blinds wet cleaned if able to

  • All mirrors are cleaned

  • Under all furniture that the vacuum doesn't fit will be Swifferd

  • All mats and rugs, and pet furniture are vacuumed

  • All flooring is vacuumed and mopped

BATHROOMS

  • Shower and or baths scrubbed cleaned and dried

  • All shampoo bottles are wiped down

  • All faucets are wiped and polished

  • All glass and mirrors are cleaned

  • Light fixtures dusted (we do not take apart light fixtures to clean them)

  • Vanity thoroughly cleaned (sinks, front of cupboards and draws)

  • Backsplash cleaned

  • Toilets are thoroughly cleaned outside and in

  • The wall beside and behind the toilet is cleaned

  • Baseboards are hand cleaned

  • Any exposed shelves are dusted

  • The garbage is emptied bag is replaced

  • With bags provided by the client

  • Both sides of the Door are dusted Marks and build-up wet wiped

  • Floors vacuumed and moped

LAUNDRY ROOM

  • All shelves/horizontal edges dusted (including edges on walls, if any.)

  • Outside of laundry machines (we don't clean the inside.)

  • Light fixtures/light switches/outlets dusted

  • Shelves and tables are dusted, and all items on shelves and machines are dusted

  • Baseboards hand wiped any other trim dusted with a Swiffer

  • Garbage emptied

  • All doors and doorknobs are cleaned

  • Mats/shoe holders and rugs vacuumed

  • Floors vacuumed and moped

STAIRCASES AND ENTRANCES

  • All horizontal edges are dusted

  • Banisters and handrails are dusted/disinfected

  • Any shelves and tables are dusted

  • Stairs vacuumed and mopped

  • Picture frames are dusted, and mirrors are cleaned

Things to note

  • Please ensure you take any highly valuable and easily breakable items off shelves If something looks fragile, we will not move it

  • We only clean things that are reachable from the second step of a step ladder

  • Furniture is not moved during basic cleans

  • During the initial clean we will get as much build up as we can some surfaces may take more then one clean to come completely clean.

  • We do not take everything of shelves to clean during basic cleans, if the shelf is full of stuff we will list the front stuff to dust under and will dust what we can.

  • We do not clean walls during basic cleans spot cleaning can be added.

  • Some types of paint can't be wet cleaned without damage. Please ensure you inform us of the paint type if you request wall spot cleaning.
